Getting Uncomfortable In Vietnam
I often wonder—do we really need to leave our comfort zones? Why spend so much effort getting into one, only to be told to step back out of it? 🤣
But what is the comfort zone, really?
For most, solo travel feels “uncomfortable.” But for me, it’s the most comfortable thing I’ve ever done. Nothing makes me happier than being on the road, exploring.
People often ask me: Why do you travel solo? Aren’t you afraid? What are you running from?
To answer those questions: I grew up watching Nat Geo and always dreamed of solo travel. I’ve never felt like I was running away from anything. Why should chasing a different reality be seen as “running away”?
But these questions did make me reflect, and today I want to ask you:
What’s holding you back from traveling solo?
What are you afraid of losing?
Why does being alone make you uncomfortable?
What truths are you avoiding by staying within your comfort zone?

Life Updates
In my last newsletter, I mentioned I’d been struggling on and off. This year has been the hardest of my life, full of challenges. It’s ironic, isn’t it? Sitting in a beautiful country like Vietnam, yet experiencing some of my worst anxiety attacks. I didn’t want to go out, talk to anyone, eat, or do anything at all.
I want you to know I’m okay, but this experience has pushed me to focus more on my physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
While I’m grateful to have come this far, I know it can be incredibly hard for those without a support system. Acknowledging my privilege, I want to offer my support to you, my readers and render my support. Feel please join this FREE GROUP where I’ll be sharing resources, advice, and as much support as possible. And do share it with anyone who might benefit from it.
Let us really be kind & generous to one another. Even if the other person fails to participate <3
I was working for this client of mine for last 3 years. During that duration, I did take up few small projects but honestly I did not care much. I did not care that I was under-paid, nor did I care that I should look for other long term projects. It was my mistake.
I even knew that the project is about to get over this year and I would need to look for other work but I still ignored.
I want to talk about this here in detail. There are few reasons, why I feel, I subconsciously did what I did.
First, I wanted to ignore my instincts and just go with the flow. Never do that! Going with the flow might be the most overrated thing in the world. Are you a bird, drifting aimlessly? Of course not. So stop doing that!
Second, I wanted to see what would happen if I lost the contract. I have close to zero savings and no major portfolio in Marketing. My travel vlogging doesn’t pay much, so I wondered—what would happen? How would I react? I’ll explore this more in my next newsletter, so don’t forget to subscribe if you’re new here!
Third, I wanted to apply the same tactics that I share in my PDF. So if you do not know, I do sell my Remote Guide PDF for INR 999 ($12) and often I wondered, if it is even helping people. Are they going to apply and get the job? Because it is a process that needs to be followed, many fail to be consistent- which is the hardest part of this process. This made me often doubt the credibility of my work. The only way was to know if it is the best approach, was to APPLY ON MY OWN. And I have been doing fine so far :D So !! If you want to have a remote job and travel the world like I do and many others have been doing for ages now, drop me an email to grab the PDF.
Have you ever had the freedom to do anything, yet still felt stuck?
I believe most problems could be solved with money. But now, faced with the consequences of short-term choices I don’t regret, I’m forced to think long-term.
That’s one reason I’ve chosen to stay in one place for a while and make deliberate, thoughtful decisions. It’s been kinda stressful, but I hope these small steps will help me grow as a person and achieve my goals.
I’ll be sharing updates on these developments—mental, emotional, and financial—here in the newsletter because, honestly, I feel more liberated writing currently than making videos. xD
PS: If you’d like to fuel my incredibly wise life choices and borderline unrealistic dreams, feel free to sprinkle a little generosity right here! Think of it as your good deed of the day...or week...or lifetime. No pressure, of course! 😜"
