Hello From Kenya😚
Learning new language is fun when traveling different countries. Can you guess what language is this: Danke, dass du hier bist🥰
I turned 29 recently and I am closer to my 40s than I am to my 20s.
Ageing seems to be a difficult topic for everyone. I am no exception but thankfully, I do not worry about things that I cannot control.
What I can control are:
My finances (I don’t have any regrets here but please do save unless you’re spending on your dreams)
My health (read my last newsletter, guess who has made lifestyle changes🫡)
My time- I can not afford to waste time doing things that does not help me or please me in any ways.
My Travel Plans:
This section is especially for you, who chose to read my newsletters 🥰🥺
I am honestly happy that I took the break of 3.5 months before hitting the roads again. It is so important to reflect back on everything one has seen, felt & experienced so far when traveling and doing it as a woman, all alone, it’s been mentally & emotionally challenging.
I am in Kenya already and plan to cover East Africa for the next few months. I can not believe that I am in Africa already. I was pretty skeptical about this whole trip to be honest and was constantly stuck between Africa or countries like Japan, Korea, etc. But here I am.
Amongst the major plans that I have in terms of creating content, something that I would dearly wish to do is contribute to the kids here. Help them with money for education. In case, you would be interested to contribute 9354800147@kotak and kriti272@gmail.com is the UPI & Paypal respectively for any form of cash donations.
On a more personal note, I actually felt that I would get married by this age. Not because I wanted to but more that I will be pressured into marriage.
And No! It is not my parent’s fault or any other Indian parents for that matter. It is everywhere around the world. Not met anyone who is not curious about my marriage and my life choices. So let’s not blame my Indian upbringing here.
Now, while the pressure is still there, I am glad I have been able to dodge off marriage and live on my terms. It comes with its own challenges & constant dilemma but every time, I step out of my house to travel again, the euphoria makes me go crazy and I know I am on the right path💀
Would I regret it later? I am not sure. Maybe? Who knows! But if I did not do what I am doing now, I would have regretted this my whole life. Thanks to my remote job that gave me the opportunity to work, make living and see the world.
If you’re still not sure on how to embark on this journey, book a 1-0-1 call with me here: https://calendly.com/nomad-consultation/30min
The first session is Free!!!🤗
It’s funny how I have so much to share all the time except when I actually sit down to write my thoughts and put it here.
You know how every place has its own essence, its own vibe? Some places would always be more welcoming to you than the others and Kenya has its own vibe. As of now, I am chilling at Diani coastal region and its been okayyyyy!! Nairobi was also okayyishh..
I would be able to give a full update in my next newsletter most probably as I still have few more days here.
If you are planning your trip, do check out GetYourGuide before planning your next adventure and I have been using WayWay to get pretty sweet flight deals.
Well, Try not to stop travelling even when you're married😭, these newsletters are way more interesting to read
